          GBS Pickleball Alpha Flight Series

Alpha Flight Series pickleball paddle using brazing technology and aviation aluminum to create honeycomb core materials and surfaces.

Aluminum cores are softer compared to other polymer cores. When the ball hits the aluminum core racket, it bounces slower than usual, and the frosted surface can better hit the spinning ball, which Increase your control over the ball. In addition, it can absorb the impact force of the ball, reducing the burden on your arms.

          Less weigjt, more fun!

If you're still playing with a fiberglass paddle, you should definitely try one of these. They have a much lighter swing weight and the expanded face gives a more comfortable impact. I find my arm gets a tires much less quickly and I hit fewer awkward shots at the edges of the paddle. It's a nice improvement over standard paddles.

          Different feel and sound

The paddle is lightweight and well balanced and comes with a nice cover. The sweet spot definitely feels like it’s most of the paddle face. The handle grip was comfortable but for me it was on the short side where my hand felt a little crowded. For smaller hands this probably wouldn’t be an issue. The sound when striking the pickle ball is a loud metallic pop sound very similar to an aluminum baseball bat. The paddle struck the ball nicely but didn’t feel like a power strike when compared with a similar priced composite paddle. After using the paddle for a couple of days I noticed a dent in the top along the rim. I don’t remember hitting the floor very hard but since it’s aluminum it obviously dents easy. No noticeable change in the paddle play.

Good intermediate paddle for the money

Overall quality of this paddle is pretty good. It's no unibody, but the materials are higher end than some of the paddles out there. It's much better than the paddles you'll find in set you get with nets.

The feel of the paddle is good compared to beginner paddles. The grip is tacky and standard size. For me the paddle produces adequate power. The balance of the paddle is good and the weight is perfect for someone that's looking for a medium weighted paddle. Nice product.
